Young Adults Clothes Swap and Potluck

On Saturday 20 April, the ESUMC Young Adults group will be hosting the first-ever Clothes Swap and Potluck in the fellowship hall of the church building. Young adults and youth of ESUMC, the young adults and youth of the Fünfhaus Gemeinde, and all other guests are welcome. 

Spring is in the air and we all know what that means… Spring Cleaning! As the weather gets warmer and the sun begins to shine, many people find ways to reset and prepare for the new season. One way to prepare for the warmer months is by sorting through your clothes and making space in the closet for those t-shirts and shorts. Do you have any clothes that you are no longer in love with? Maybe you’ve been hard at work in the gym and that suit you wear to weddings no longer fits. Perhaps you’ve grown tired of the clothes you’ve been wearing all winter. With acknowledgment to our commitment to Creation Care, we want to provide a space for you to bring your clothes (and accessories) that you no longer need so that they may find a new home and bring someone else joy. You may even find a few treasures for you to take home. If items are left over after the clothes swap, they will be donated so that that someone else can use them instead of them ending up in the trash.

We invite you to come, bring clothes you do not want anymore, browse for things you like, and join us for a time of fellowship and a potluck meal.

Please bring a dish to share and feel free to invite friends. The event will take place from 16:00 to 20:00 at Sechshauserstraße 56, 1150, Vienna.
