ESUMC Hosts 2025 Ecu­men­ic­al Study Day

On Saturday 8 March, members of ESUMC welcomed friends from other English-speaking churches in Vienna for a study day on the theme "Wrestling with the Angel," based on the account of Jacob's encounter with the angel in Genesis chapter 32. This spiritual retreat was led by Father Ed Hone, a Redemptorist priest who serves as the Dean of St. Edmund's College, Cambridge, UK. We give thanks to Father Ed for leading our study day, and to the members of other faith communities who blessed us with their presence and participation. And we offer a special word of appreciation to Farzad and Sadaf for providing a tasty and satisfying lunch, and to David and Connie for offering blessed hospitality throughout the day.
