"It was our pleasure!" A Joyful End to the Wärmestube Season

It’s wonderful that we have the tradition of the Wärmestube festival for our team of leaders and volunteers in early summer. A few weeks after the Wärmestube season ended, we gathered in the garden at Sechshauser Straße 56 to look back with gratitude (and a little pride), and simply to see each other again as a team and catch up. After all, we enjoyed our ministry together during the winter season, and given that we represent several congregations, it's been many weeks since some of us have seen one another.
A few “alumni” were also able to join us for the afternoon, so we had the chance to catch up with them. Jutta not only provided plenty of delicious food, but she also reminded us of everything we’d accomplished together last season. It was Pastor John’s last time with us — we’re going to miss him!
We felt a touch of nostalgia, but in the end, joy prevailed: joy in what we do, in our community, and in what God has given us and our guests over the past season. We’re already looking forward to spending time together starting next December!
