ESUMC Members Have Many Talents!

News

The annual celebration of the talents of the congregation was a joyful and blessed evening!

ESUMC members and friends gathered in our sanctuary on 28 February for a joyful evening of celebrating the gifts and talents of our community.

Hosted by ESUMC musical director Marilyn Brandl, the evening featured musical performances by our Chancel Choir, a guitar trio, and a string duet; singing accompanied by the piano and guitar; reading of poetry and humorous anecdotes; and a general spirit of joy and good fellowship.

Following the Talent Show, members and friends enjoyed a variety of sweet and savory snacks, and continued in conversation and fellowship long into the evening, a valued tradition of this annual celebration.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Marilyn for coordinating the event and organizing the roster of performers, to the many volunteers who served in the kitchen to prepare for the fellowship hour, to all who brought dishes of food to share, and to each one of our members and friends who offered their talents to make the evening so joyful.

And we give thanks to God for blessing our community with such a variety of gifts and talents. In appreciation for all God has given us, we share our many blessings with others in our community, to the glory of God.
