Ecumenical background and intercultural experience
The Revd. Dr Mark Jason, a Global Missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries, has been appointed as Pastor of ESUMC from 1st December 2026.
Mark is currently serving as a Pastor in the Methodist Church in Britain. He has 25 years of experience in pastoral ministry and has served in churches in South India, the United Kingdom and also in West Africa. Mark comes to us with a rich ecumenical and theological background and intercultural experience.
Mark is married to Sarah. Sarah will be moving to Vienna with Mark. They will be relocating to Sechshauser Straße in the middle of November. Mark and Sarah are British citizens of Indian heritage and together have much experience in serving in culturally diverse ministry settings. They have two adult sons who live in the UK.
